F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions)
The following are some of our Frequently Asked Questions. Can't find the answer to your question? >> Send Us an Email
What does a personal concierge do?
You might use a personal concierge to do as little as run an errand or something as major as manage a whole project. Perhaps you are looking for someone to run local errands such as trips to the dry cleaners or grocery store or to do other personal shopping. Or your job responsibilities may not allow you to be home during the day for service calls or improvement projects around the house. We can be there in your place and can source and supervise the work to be done. The next time you say, "I wish I could clone myself so I could get “X” done," think of Life/Time CEO.
How does the service work?
You request our assistance via email or a phone call. During an initial consultation we develop a plan for the work to be done and set a mutually convenient time to provide you with the desired service.
What if the service I'm looking for is not on your list?
Ask us anyway. If we can, we will take care of it for you. If what you need is services we don’t provide, such as a plumber, electrician, painter, etc., we will bring in a professional from our list of pre-qualified, preferred service providers. We are also available to schedule and supervise their work for you.
What if I would like access to your list of service providers but don't need your scheduling and supervision services?
No problem. You can subscribe to our list and we will provide you with up to three resources for getting the work done. Everyone on our list is a provider whom we have personally used or who has been recommended by others on our list.
What areas do you serve?
Southern Mercer County, New Jersey and Lower Bucks in Pennsylvania. Clients are generally within 30 minutes drive time from Yardley, Pennsylvania. We can travel further for an extended projects and/or with compensation for travel time. We also have professional associates to whom we can refer you if your need is outside of our service area.
How do I pay for your services?
Payment by check is due upon completion of a one time errand or small job. For longer projects, clients are billed every two weeks with payment due on receipt of invoice. Some of our clients find it more convenient to purchase a block of hours in advance. We work with you to determine the method most convenient for your needs.
Can I have you help someone else?
Yes. Gift certificates are great way to give something special to new moms, parents or friends and are a particularly convenient way to give them a special gift if you live across the country.
When the situation calls for more than just a gift, ongoing service can easily be arranged. We submit itemized bills directly to you for services performed and provide "progress" reports or updates as needed.
